ENGLISH 6 (ENGENG06, 100p)

FICTIONAL FAVORITES

This assignment is a bit like ”show and tell”, but not really. Instead of an object, you are to bring a somewhat famous, or – at least – a relatively well-known, fictional character from the English-speaking world to class. You may choose characters from books, comics, plays, TV-series, movies or video games. Be as creative (or boring) as you like. Your task is simply to inform the class about your chosen character – in a way that you find fitting. I hope this will help expand our knowledge of the English-speaking world and broaden our cultural horizons.

Superman, Hit-girl, Hermione Granger, Captain Jack Sparrow, The Joker, Arya Stark, Fat Amy, Hazel Grace or someone else – who's your fictional favorite?

Obligatory content (when possible):

Name, origin, catch-phrases, quotes, description (both character traits and looks), relationships (to other characters for example), life events etc. Please remember to add a short plot summary or background story (to help your audience put the character in context).

Examination:
1. Oral presentation (5 mins)
2. Short written summary (50 words)
3. Test (based on presentations and summaries)
